Reasons Why People Get Their Tattoos Removed

A Change of Lifestyle – Getting involved in a new relationshipWomen Get Tattoo Removed Houston

It is said that the only constant in life is ‘change’, and many people evolve over time as they go through various life experiences, and as a result they change their outlook on life and might adopt a new belief system.

Some persons might have tattooed their body to show solidarity in a negative group and afterward found another more positive way of life and decide to have these images associated with the past removed.

Maturity – How we change as we age

There is an age old saying which says “Youth is wasted on the young.” In the passion of youth, immature youngsters might not consider the consequences of their actions in many respects of their lives. Many times their actions involve getting tattoos that they later regret having as they grow older.

Stigmatization – the way society sees tattoos

Right or wrong, society can be harsh and generally people with tattoos are looked down upon as deviants from society’s rules. In some instances people who have tattoos cannot endure the stigma that society places on them — even though sometimes they might be good persons inside. To be accepted as a normal, responsible citizen, they opt to remove their tattoos.

Why People Get Tattoos on Their Face

Remove face tattoosThere are various reasons that people get tattoos on their face.  Many of these people were paid money to add a tattoo on their face as a billboard.  They may now regret that they have a tattoo on their face.  Unlike body tattoos it is very hard to hide.

We have had cases where people get a tattoo on their face to be a rebel or go against their parents or family and then they really regret it.  Especially teenagers that let someone tattoo on their face.   Legally a teenager cannot get a tattoo if they are under 18.  So parents sometimes bring their teenagers to us to remove the tattoos and we have been very successful in removing these illegal tattoos, and we have had some on the face.

Removing Tattoos are Painful in Many Ways

Ask people why they got a tattoo, and some will tell you it seemed like a good idea at the time but now, many have changed their minds. But getting rid of a tattoo isn’t easy.

Looking at the 14 giant stars and the yellow and orange flames on his arm, Chris Fletcher says, “I grew up a little I guess. I was trying to start thinking about careers; jobs so didn’t want to have a tattoo all over my arm.”

Chris Fletcher and his ex-wife, who is now married to someone else, say the matching tattoos are embarrassing. So much so, she asked us not to use her name or show her face.

“At the time I didn’t think about it but now I’ve had my son and it obviously bothers me,” she says.

More People are Interested In Laser Tattoo Removal

Many people are re-thinking their tattoos as they move into different phases of their lives. Many people areTattoo Removal becoming interested in learning about tattoo removal also, but it is important that you go to someone who really understands how to do it correctly like at North Houston Laser Tattoo Removal

If tattoos are the marks of an era — declarations of love, of loss, of triumph, of youthful exuberance or youthful foolishness — then tattoo removals are about regret, confessions that those landmarks are in the past. They’re about the realization that whatever you believed in with such force that you wanted it eternally branded on your skin is now foreign to you.

According to the Pew Research Center, more than 40 percent of Americans between the ages of 26 and 40 have at least one tattoo. Getting a tattoo, once the province of sailors rather than suburbanites, is so mainstream that tats are inked at the mall and seen on everyone from Middle American mothers to H Street hipsters to Hollywood starlets.

Perhaps not surprisingly, a parallel trend is emerging: tattoo removal, with dozens of businesses and training schools opening across the country.

UV Tattoos

There’s a new trend in the tattoo industry, one that your going to need a black light for. UV tattoos, or black light tattoos, are tattoos that only show up under black lights and glow dramatically. Since most people don’t want to spend the time and money on a tattoo that is hardly ever going to be seen, black light tattoos are rare but are becoming increasingly popular, especially in raver culture where black lights are  prevalent.

The benefits are that you can get one in a highly visible area where you might not chose to get a regular one, without the potential repercussions (if you have a conservative job that doesn’t allow tattoos, for example). However, there are definite downsides to a UV tattoo. Although they are considered invisible in normal light, many times the tattoo is visible and resembles scar tissue. Not really an attractive look.

UV tattoos are also usually even more expensive than regular tattoos which are pretty pricy to begin with. Since it is a newer technology some people have also had negative reactions the the UV ink, although this has improved in recent years. Just because black light tattoos are more subtle that traditional ones doesn’t mean they aren’t just as serious. be sure to do your research if you decide to get a UV tattoo just like you would a regular one.
